About

Sound has always been more than a technical pursuit for David Louria; it is a craft, a discipline, and a way of listening.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, David is one of Israel’s most experienced and respected sound professionals. His career spans live sound engineering, recording, mixing, mastering, broadcast production, and education. His work moves fluidly between studio environments and live performance spaces, with a consistent focus on preserving the character, intention, and emotional impact of the music.

David believes that the essence of music often emerges most powerfully in live performance, through interaction between musicians, shared timing, and the unrepeatable nature of the moment. Capturing that energy with clarity, depth, and honesty is both a technical challenge and a personal calling.

Professional Practice

David specializes in live recording and mixing for small and large ensembles, working across diverse environments including recording studios, theaters, concert halls, festivals, broadcast studios, and private locations. His approach combines meticulous technical standards with a deep understanding of musical language, dynamics, and performance psychology.

In addition to live work, David operates a production and mixing facility, supporting artists through pre-production, mixing, and mastering. He works closely with clients to clarify artistic goals, define sound identity, and achieve results within realistic budgets and production constraints.
